When Australian actor, Harry Cook recently swapped Hollywood for the beautiful Northern Beaches he was delighted to discover that his new beachside house came with a surprise in the kitchen – an inline water filter system.
Harry is an accomplished actor starring in the 2009 film, “Accidents Happen” with Geena Davies. He is also a LGBTQ activist – winning Celebrity of the Year in 2017 and 2018 at the Australian LGBTI Awards.
Harry and his husband, Liam along with their beloved English Bulldog, Poppy now enjoy a healthy lifestyle on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. So were delighted to discover their water filter system provided fresh, filtered water straight from their kitchen tap with no ‘nasties’.
When the water filter system needed a new cartridge Harry contacted the team at WFA. The team quickly supplied a replacement Platinum inline cartridge.
Surprised that he was able to change the cartridge so easily…and without the need for a plumber, Harry was so impressed that he shared his delight with his thousands of Twitter followers and WFA were in the limelight!
Harry also took some time out from his busy acting schedule to answer a few questions for us.

I usually start my day with a coffee and either a protein shake or a glass of water.

Everything. I’m adamant on having clean water for everything; coffee, tea, our dog’s water bowl and our protein shakes to name a few.
Absolutely. Her health means the world to us so we make sure that she drinks filtered water every day.

Extremely important. I like knowing that the water I drink and the water we give our dog is completely free of preservatives, chemicals and other toxins.
Unbelievably easy. I’m usually the worst when it comes to DIY projects but this filter was replaced easily within a few minutes.
I’m so happy with it. Whereas some water filters make the water sort of dribble out, the opposite happened with our filter and the flow was exactly the same as without. Very impressed.
Yes. It tastes like bottled water. I couldn’t be more impressed.

Most people have experienced brain fog. Few stop to consider what might be causing it, or they write it off as exhaustion or stress. But it could also be hydration-related. There’s growing scientific evidence linking even mild dehydration with reduced concentration and cognitive function. So, can filtered water support better focus? Yes, it can.
Saving money up front has a way of becoming the most expensive part of the decision. And that applies to water filters, too. A cheap option that leaks, underperforms or needs replacing sooner than expected will often cost more in the long run than investing in quality from the start. That’s why a certified water filter is often the smartest choice.
Filtered water straight from the fridge is now pretty standard, and for many Australian households, it feels like enough. But not all filtration methods are designed the same. If you’ve ever wondered whether a fridge filter really covers all your needs or how it compares to an inline water filter, you’ve come to the right place.
